What We Do

General Information

 

The purpose of this board is to educate and involve undergraduate students in the process of scientific peer-review. The peer-review system is imperitive for healthy scientific dialogue, and as a member of a review board students will be the first to see and evaluate the cutting-edge of neuroscience research. We are seeking well qualified applicants from a variety of neuroscience research method backgrounds to join the editorial board at our campus. Impulse Journal is a premiere international undergraduate neuroscience research journal, and has set up a peer review network on the WFU campus.

Statement of purpose:

The purpose of this board is to educate and involve undergraduate students in the process of scientific peer-review. The peer-review system is a staple of healthy scientific dialogue, and as a member of a review board students will be the first to see and evaluate the cutting-edge of neuroscience research.

 

Impulse Journal is a non-profit student organization, and has set up a review affiliation on the WFU campus. All members of the editorial board will undergo official peer-review training and work with the guidance of WFU’s Impulse faculty advisor Dr. Wayne Silver.
